Subject: IBST bug
Brad,
we have a bug in the new Vietnam software. I got the settings files to load ok and started running it to suddenly find that the HSM hi pressure command in Virtual Machine no longer works. The HSM turns on low pressure normally, BUT when told to go to HIGH pressure, we get NO pressure. It does NOT dump to return like the HSM does when you turn if OFF.

To prove that it was not a change in MainPanel or anywhere else, I used the Listener window and just used the following vm commands:

vm.setHsmOff;

vm.setHsmLo;

vm.setHsmHi;

I performed these commands with the old s/w that works normally and then again with the new s/w that does NOT.

you can turn off the HSM with vm.setHsmOff; in either system.
you can turn ON low pressure with vm.setHsmLo; in either system.

vm.setHsmHI; does NOT work in the new s/w. The actuator pressure drops to zero (I had actuator hard over in endcap to prove pressure).
If I issue a vm.setHsmLo; afterward, the HSM DOES supply low pressure again.

I cannot determine if any Alltalk change is doing this or if it is in coops.o or Super.dll. I do NOT have the GUI files for the old s/w. They were not on the system.

That's all I can tell you about the bug - I tried to get to the lowest common element, eliminating anything in MainPanel. It has to be a change in VirtualMachine or in real-time stuff that is screwing up.  Maybe you are turning off Low pressure solenoid when going to high pressure (cannot do that....).
